Central Services Planning Committee

Wawota,  April 14th    2011

Those in attendance were:

Wawota-Suzanne Eisler, Laurel Charles, Al Chubak.

Windthorst -Brenda Larsen, Loreen Windjack.

Kipling -Emile Balogh, Michel Gerard, Elaine Hamelin.

Kennedy -Yvonne Bertalon, Halina Hourd, Doreen Gardner, Doreen Cancade.

The meeting was called to order by our president Elaine Hamelin

Doreen Cancade offered to take the minutes for this meeting.

Thersa Istace has resigned from the secretary position.

Al Chubak suggested –someone from the hosting parish take the minutes for the future meetings. This was in agreement by the majority.

Elaine read the minutes of the last meeting and they were accepted by Yvonne Bertalon.

 Parish reports were read –Al Chubak moved the reports be accepted, sec. by Michel Girard.

 Doug Aikens was unable to be at the meeting—therefore there was no financial report.

 The Pictorial Directories were distributed—Kennedy had two available for sale—Windthorst bought them.

 History books were all sold.

Easter services will  be Holy Thursday @8:00 P.M. in Kennedy, Good Friday @ Wawota 3:00 P.M., Windthorst—Easter Vigil—@8:00P.M. Easter Sunday @ Kipling @ 9:00 A.M.

Moved by Al Chubak and seconded by Laurel Charles that the finance committees get together to review expenses and expectations for the future administration of the 4 parishes.

It was decided without a motion that we pay for cable—Re Father.

Father Danilo Rafael, Director of Personnel and Human Resouces from the Archdiocese,  indicated there would not be a permanent priest before August 1st. Father Dan assured us he would do his best at having someone come to fill in some Sunday’s during May, June & July.

Michel Gerard and Brenda Larsen offered their services as Lay Ministers—mileage to be paid by the parish.

 Confirmation and First Communion will be held at Windthorst May 23 @ 3 P.M. with lunch or supper to follow.

The next meeting is scheduled for June 16, 2011 at Kennedy.

Next Deanery meeting is May 26 at Stockholm , 7:30 PM

The meeting was adjourned by President Elaine.  A time for food and fellowship followed.
